The Role: Managing Director / CIO - Infrastructure
Reporting directly to the firm's senior leadership, the Managing Director / CIO will hold comprehensive oversight of all investment activities. This includes the full lifecycle from strategic conceptualization to successful exit. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the fund's portfolio and ensuring its continued market leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Investment Strategy & Execution:* Develop, refine, and implement the overarching investment strategy for infrastructure assets across various sub-sectors within the U.S., aligning with the fund’s objectives and risk appetite. Lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of new investment opportunities.
Deal Sourcing & Due Diligence:* Cultivate a robust deal pipeline through extensive industry networks. Oversee rigorous financial, operational, and commercial due diligence processes for potential investments, ensuring a thorough understanding of risks and returns.
Portfolio Management:* Actively manage and monitor existing portfolio companies, working collaboratively with management teams to enhance operational performance, implement value creation initiatives, and prepare for successful exits.
Team Leadership & Development:* Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of investment professionals. Foster a culture of excellence, analytical rigor, accountability, and continuous professional development.
Stakeholder Engagement:* Represent the firm with key external stakeholders, including limited partners, co-investors, and industry participants. Effectively communicate investment theses, portfolio performance, and market insights.
Risk Management:* Establish and maintain robust risk management frameworks to identify, assess, and mitigate investment-related risks throughout the fund’s operations.
Market Insight:* Continuously monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and technological advancements within the infrastructure sector to inform investment decisions and identify emerging opportunities.
Location & Compensation:
This critical leadership position is based in the United States. A highly competitive compensation package, including significant performance-based incentives and carry participation, will be offered, commensurate with the substantial experience and proven track record required for this C-suite role.
