Private Equity Associate - Consumer

Private Equity Associate – Consumer / Food & Beverage. Chicago-based investment firm focused on the consumer and food & beverage sectors.

Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and execute investment opportunities across consumer and food & beverage sectors. Build and maintain complex financial models (LBO, operating models, valuation analyses). Conduct industry research and market diligence to support investment theses. Participate in all phases of the deal lifecycle, including sourcing, diligence, execution, and portfolio monitoring. Prepare investment committee materials, presentations, and deal documentation. Support portfolio companies by analyzing performance, tracking KPIs, and assisting with strategic initiatives.

Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory. Strong transaction experience with exposure to M&A and/or leveraged finance. Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills. Experience in consumer, retail, food & beverage sectors preferred.
