Investing Associate – Commerce & Fintech

Capital One Ventures seeks an Investing Associate to support its venture investment program, focused on fintech, consumer, and commerce enablement investments aligned with Capital One's strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sourcing: Map sectors and generate vetted investment opportunities in target technology categories

- Execution: Manage due diligence, financial analysis, investment memos, legal oversight, and deal execution

- Business Development: Collaborate with Capital One stakeholders to identify opportunities and develop theses

- Portfolio Monitoring: Lead data collection, reporting, and portfolio development

- Mentorship: Mentor team members; serve as a cultural ambassador

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years in finance, strategy, or technology

- MBA preferred

- 2+ years in VC, corporate development, investment banking, product management, or strategy consulting

- VC and fintech/consumer sector knowledge

Compensation: $179,700–$205,100 annually (New York) + performance-based incentive compensation
