About This Role

Brookfield Renewable, one of the world's largest owners, operators, and developers of renewable power with $125 billion of power assets under management, is seeking a Director of Valuations to join its portfolio company Renewbrook Energy in Boston, MA.

About the Role

The Director, Valuations will be an integral member of the team, working closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership in a deeply collaborative environment. The Director is responsible for overseeing the preparation and review of portfolio and project valuations, evaluating and providing strategic guidance on acquisitions or other transactions, and supporting business planning and strategic initiatives.

The successful candidate will be the primary architect and manager of the financial frameworks used to value assets and evaluate transactions, collaborating closely with other teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead financial underwriting and coordinate with the broader team on due diligence for new investments and transactions

- Lead the valuation of assets for various transactions (including acquisitions, financings, and other structures) and provide strategic guidance on structures

- Prepare materials for internal stakeholders, including internal updates, investment presentations, and reporting

- Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to assess performance, identify trends, and evaluate opportunities to improve profitability and returns

- Develop and manage project-level and portfolio-level models

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance transactions and strategic initiatives

- Support strategic planning efforts, including annual budgets, long-term plans, capital expenditure reviews, and financing needs

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in renewable energy, private equity, infrastructure, power, or other relevant fields. Experience in residential solar preferred. Brookfield Renewable is one of the world's largest publicly traded platforms for renewable power and sustainable solutions.
