Role Overview

Blue Owl (NYSE: OWL) is a leading alternative asset manager with over $319 billion in AUM as of June 30, 2026, investing across three multi-strategy platforms: Credit, Real Assets, and GP Strategic Capital. The Financial Assets Team within Alternative Credit is hiring Investment Professionals to work on credit-oriented investments in markets underserved by traditional lenders, spanning specialty finance, private corporate credit, and equipment leasing.

Key Responsibilities

- Work on multiple transactions simultaneously across all stages of the investment process — structuring, investment committee, and ongoing relationship/asset management

- Develop financial models and conduct due diligence

- Participate in legal documentation, including term sheets and negotiation of key terms

- Manage the overall transaction process alongside senior investment professionals

- Mentor and train junior team members; contribute to the team's strategic planning

Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in a buyside investment role or relevant banking team

- 2+ years of experience in asset-backed or financial institution credit investing or advisory

- Strong quantitative skills, including financial modeling and data analysis

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation

Base annual salary range of $125,000–$175,000 for this New York City-based role, plus eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
