Vice President - Credit & Insurance ICS (Product)

The Vice President - Credit & Insurance ICS (Product) will be instrumental in defining, structuring, and overseeing credit and insurance products designed to support Blackstone’s private equity investments and portfolio companies. This involves a deep understanding of credit markets, risk transfer mechanisms, and the ability to translate complex financial and insurance concepts into actionable strategies.

Core responsibilities include:

Product Development & Management:* Leading the design, implementation, and ongoing management of credit and insurance products tailored for the private equity asset class. This encompasses identifying market needs, evaluating potential solutions, and ensuring robust product frameworks.

Strategic Advisory:* Providing expert guidance to investment teams and portfolio companies on optimal credit structures, insurance coverage, and risk mitigation strategies. This includes assessing deal-specific requirements and developing bespoke solutions.

Relationship Management:* Collaborating with external brokers, underwriters, and credit providers, as well as internal legal, finance, and investment professionals, to secure favorable terms and innovative solutions.

Risk Assessment & Optimization:* Analyzing credit and insurance exposures across the portfolio, identifying opportunities for efficiency, cost reduction, and enhanced protection of assets and operations.

Market Intelligence:* Monitoring market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging product offerings in the credit and insurance landscape to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
