About This Role

Blackstone Real Estate seeks a Senior Associate to join its Portfolio Management team in New York. This role serves as the central hub of the Real Estate business, synthesizing and reporting on market and portfolio information across sectors, strategies, and regions globally.

The position bridges analytics and communication in a high-visibility capacity. Core responsibilities include tracking and analyzing portfolio performance across all regions, synthesizing real estate market data, macroeconomic trends, and capital markets information. The Associate prepares recurring and ad hoc materials including investor communications, portfolio analyses, briefing documents, and presentations that distill portfolio themes and sector trends.

Additionally, the role develops centralized talking points and briefing notes supporting leadership discussions, external communications, and fundraising efforts. Cross-functional collaboration is essential, partnering with Asset Management, Acquisitions, Finance, Investor Relations, and regional teams across the U.S., Europe, and Asia to ensure message alignment.

Required qualifications include 5+ years in real estate-related roles, with preferred background in real estate, investment banking, consulting, investor relations, or private equity. Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel is mandatory, alongside knowledge of real estate investment fundamentals and sector-level metrics. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional analytical skills translating complex data into clear narratives, strong interpersonal skills enabling comfortable engagement with senior leaders across geographies and functions, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams under tight deadlines.
