About This Role
Blackstone Real Estate is a global leader in real estate investing, founded in 1991 and managing US $314 billion of investor capital. Blackstone is the largest owner of commercial real estate globally, spanning logistics, data centers, residential, office and hospitality assets, with opportunistic funds targeting undermanaged, well-located assets worldwide, a Core+ business investing in stabilized assets (including Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust, BREIT), and a global real estate debt platform including Blackstone Mortgage Trust (NYSE: BXMT).
The Blackstone Real Estate Partners (BREP) Product Specialist group is responsible for strategic product management, fund and portfolio analytics, capital and liquidity planning, and investor reporting across the BREP Global Opportunistic Fund platform, sitting at the intersection of asset management, portfolio management, investor relations, executive leadership, and technology.
This Associate role supports global product management and analytics initiatives across the platform, with exposure to technology enhancement and process modernization efforts including automation and data accessibility improvements. The position spans multiple regions -- the U.S., Europe, and Asia -- and offers visibility across global teams and senior management.
Key responsibilities include driving the forecasting and analysis of asset dispositions across the BREP global platform and evaluating implications to fund performance and economics, analyzing fund, portfolio, and investment-level performance metrics, and preparing recurring analytics, management reports, and executive dashboards. The Associate will support liquidity planning, capital activity tracking, and forecasting analyses across global funds, including evaluating cash flows, funding needs, and portfolio-level liquidity considerations, and monitoring line of credit capacity utilization to mitigate liquidity risk.
The role also covers internal and external reporting, including fund and investor reporting deliverables, fund updates, presentations, and performance materials, plus developing materials for earnings, fundraising, and leadership meetings. On the technology side, the Associate will contribute to reporting infrastructure enhancements, data management initiatives, and workflow optimization, partnering with internal resources to evaluate and implement emerging technology and AI-enabled tools.
