About the Role

Blackstone, the world's largest alternative asset manager with over $1.3 trillion in assets under management, is hiring a Private Equity Analyst for its corporate private equity business (Blackstone Capital Partners), which manages $165 billion in assets and has been a global leader since 1985. This is a full-time position on the Analyst Program, based in New York, targeting candidates graduating between Fall 2026 and Spring 2027.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct research to identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities across sectors

- Perform financial analysis, including valuation and modeling, to assess investment prospects

- Analyze industry trends and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decision-making

- Execute business diligence on target companies, including operations, financial health, and growth potential

- Prepare due diligence packs incorporating analytics, market research, and background information

- Conduct interviews with industry experts and management teams to validate investment assumptions

- Assist in the execution and financing of transactions

- Build detailed operating models for prospective investments

- Draft investment memoranda and presentation materials for the investment committee

- Support portfolio companies by analyzing performance metrics and value creation plans

Qualifications

- Internship experience in investment banking, private equity, or a related financial services environment

- Strong knowledge of accounting, corporate finance, and financial statement analysis

- Experience with financial modeling and valuation methodologies

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student, with anticipated graduation between Fall 2026 and Spring 2027

Compensation

Expected annual base salary: $110,000 (New York, NY)
