Role Overview

Blackstone Infrastructure Partners (BIP), part of the world's largest alternative asset manager (over $1.3 trillion AUM), is hiring a 2027-class Investment Analyst for its Private Equity Infrastructure Group in New York. BIP invests across energy, transportation, digital infrastructure, and water/waste infrastructure sectors using a long-term buy-and-hold strategy.

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate and execute private equity infrastructure investments

- Conduct in-depth market research

- Build financial models and valuation analyses across infrastructure sectors (energy transition, transportation, digital infrastructure, water/waste)

- Lead due diligence, coordinate with advisors, and help formulate investment strategy

- Prepare written investment analyses for the BIP Investment Committee

- Support portfolio management, including add-on investments, refinancings, and exits
