Associate, Hedge Fund Solutions Core Portfolio Management, Multi-Asset Strategies & Solutions (MASS)

Role Overview

BlackRock is hiring an Associate for its Hedge Fund Solutions (HFS) Core Portfolio Management team in New York, part of the firm's Multi-Asset Strategies & Solutions (MASS) group. HFS manages over $39 billion, allocating institutional client capital to third-party hedge funds sourced and approved via BlackRock Manager Research's underwriting and diligence process.

Key Responsibilities

- Join a global team responsible for a wide array of portfolio management activities within HFS

- Partner with HFS Portfolio Managers on investment implementation and execution

- Help implement investment decisions across HFS client portfolios and the HFS governance model

- Work to enhance the HFS platform's partnership with Aladdin (BlackRock's investment platform) and other internal partner teams

- Proficient analytical and quantitative skills

- Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with various internal and external teams

- Outstanding attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for critical thinking
