Director, Private Debt Group

Barings, a global investment manager with over $400 billion in AUM, is seeking a Director for its Private Debt Group in New York. Barings is one of the largest direct lenders globally, providing senior secured loans and private credit solutions to middle-market companies. The Director will lead deal origination, credit analysis, and execution for private debt investments, manage portfolio positions, and develop relationships with sponsors and intermediaries. Requirements include 10+ years of experience in direct lending, leveraged finance, or private credit, with strong credit underwriting skills and established relationships with PE sponsors. This is a senior investment role at one of the most active direct lending platforms in the market.
