Senior Associate, Project Management

The Senior Associate, Project Management will work within Bain Capital's IT Program Management Office (PMO), supporting firm-wide business units and leading cross-functional technology projects. This Boston-based role reports into IT leadership and interfaces regularly with senior stakeholders across Capital Markets, Enterprise Architecture, Corporate Platforms, Global Delivery Services, Global Infrastructure, and Global Security & Operations.

Key responsibilities include managing multiple stakeholders to plan and direct analysis of business problems, developing project schedules and milestones, managing project teams and stakeholder expectations, and identifying and communicating risks. The role also involves managing projects with cross-team dependencies such as IT security initiatives, disaster recovery, and system upgrades, while contributing to PMO processes, policies, and tools.

The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to drive results with urgency, influence personnel outside direct reporting structures, and show ownership of issues through analysis and consensus-building.
