Finance Associate - Ventures

Bain Capital Ventures is seeking a Finance Associate to join its Venture Finance team. Bain Capital is one of the world leading private investment firms with approximately $215 billion of assets under management, spanning Private Equity, Growth & Venture, Capital Solutions, Credit, and Real Assets across 24 global offices.

Bain Capital Ventures invests in venture and growth stage companies within core industry verticals including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Commerce Technology, Financial Technology, Healthcare IT and Services, Infrastructure Software, and Security Software.

The Finance Associate will partner with senior Finance professionals on key tasks including quarterly US GAAP Basis Reporting and annual audit, annual Tax Basis Book Preparation in coordination with the internal tax department and external advisers, cash flow management including capital calls and distributions, reviewing and analyzing portfolio company financials for quarterly partner portfolio review meetings, and preparing quarterly portfolio company valuations and summarized data for partner presentations.
