Managing Director, Alternative Credit

Ares Management, one of the worlds leading alternative investment managers with over $450 billion in AUM, is seeking a Managing Director for its Alternative Credit group in New York. Ares is a dominant force in direct lending, leveraged finance, and structured credit. The MD will lead investment origination and execution in alternative credit strategies, manage client relationships, and contribute to platform growth. The role requires 15+ years of experience in credit markets, deep expertise in structured or alternative credit products, and a strong track record of investment performance. This is a senior leadership position offering meaningful carry participation at one of the largest alternative credit platforms globally.
