About This Role

ARCHIMED is a leading healthcare-focused private equity firm managing €8 billion across its funds, including the largest healthcare-only private equity fund raised by a European-based GP. The firm's MED I, MED II and MED Platform I funds are all top-decile performers for their vintage according to Preqin data.

The Principal of Investor Relations is a Partner-track role within the IR function, reporting to the Head of Investor Relations and working closely with the firm's Partners and senior leadership. The role carries shared accountability for ARCHIMED's global capital formation strategy and LP franchise.

Capital Formation & Strategic Leadership: The Principal will help shape the trajectory of the firm's capital base across flagship funds, co-investment vehicles, GP-led secondaries and new product initiatives. This includes defining and executing the firm's multi-year capital formation strategy—fund architecture, investor segmentation, geographic prioritization, and new product development. The role holds direct accountability for fundraising outcomes across assigned channels and regions.

LP Relationship Management: The Principal will own the firm's most strategic LP relationships globally, including sovereign wealth funds, major public and corporate pension plans, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, and family offices. As a senior point of contact for LPs across multiple regions, the Principal will manage complex, multi-stakeholder relationships and lead LP-facing meetings, negotiations, and ongoing engagement.

Fundraising Execution: Leading the production of institutional-quality fundraising materials (PPM, DDQ, pitch decks, VDR, track record analytics), managing legal and structural workstreams, and maintaining senior relationships with key intermediaries including investment consultants, placement agents, and private banks.

Team & Firm Building: Serving as a mentor for junior IR professionals and a thought partner to the Head of IR and Partners on IR strategy, organizational development, and LP servicing quality.

Ideal candidates bring 12+ years of experience in investor relations, capital formation, or institutional sales within alternative investments, with demonstrated success building and converting LP pipelines at senior levels.
