About This Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically rigorous Investment Associate to join our single-family office. The role provides broad exposure across private equity, venture capital, public equity and credit, portfolio management, and operations. The Investment Associate will work closely with the principal and senior management in evaluating new investment opportunities, monitoring portfolio companies and fund managers, managing investment data and reporting processes, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the family office.
Primary Responsibilities: Evaluate new private investment opportunities across venture capital, growth equity, private equity, real estate, and other alternative asset classes. Conduct market, industry and competitive analysis. Prepare investment memoranda, summaries, and presentation materials. Review financials models, investment materials, and legal documentation. Track and report on investment performance, capital calls and distributions, and portfolio developments. Participate in regular calls and meetings with portfolio companies, sponsors, and external investment managers. Track portfolio exposures, positioning, and conduct performance attribution. Help maintain portfolio reporting and investment dashboards. Assist in monitoring and managing the family office public equity and liquid investment portfolio.
Family Office Operations: Maintain investment databases, reporting systems, operational trackers, and document repositories. Track investment schedules, liquidity timelines, capital commitments, and compliance requirements. Coordinate with external service providers including accountants, attorneys, administrators, and consultants.
Qualifications: 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, consulting, or asset management. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
