Direct Lending Associate

A growing investment firm is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its private credit investment team, focused on originating, evaluating, executing, and monitoring non-sponsored credit investments across a range of industries. The role focuses on founder-owned, family-owned, and independently operated businesses.

Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and execute private credit investment opportunities with a focus on non-sponsored and directly originated transactions. Perform detailed financial analysis, credit underwriting, cash flow modeling, and downside risk assessment. Analyze capital structures, liquidity profiles, collateral packages, and covenant frameworks. Prepare investment committee memoranda.

Requirements: 3-6 years of relevant experience in private credit, direct lending, restructuring, special situations, leveraged finance, or investment banking. Advanced financial modeling and credit analysis skills. Strong understanding of capital structures, debt documentation, covenant analysis, and restructuring concepts.
