About This Role

I am working with a Leading Investment Firm who are looking for an Acquisitions & Asset Management Vice President/Senior Vice President to join their team in New York.

Key Responsibilities:

- Source, evaluate, and execute real estate acquisition opportunities through financial analysis, underwriting, and due diligence

- Lead transactions from initial review through closing, coordinating with brokers, lenders, and external advisors

- Develop and implement asset-level business plans to drive value creation and maximize investment returns

- Monitor portfolio performance, including budgeting, forecasting, leasing activity, capital projects, and financial reporting

- Identify opportunities for refinancing, recapitalizations, dispositions, and portfolio optimization

- Present investment recommendations and portfolio updates to senior leadership and investment committees

- Build and maintain relationships with key industry participants while mentoring junior team members

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or a related field

- 10+ years of experience for VP candidates; 15+ years for SVP candidates within real estate acquisitions, asset management, private equity real estate, REITs, or institutional investment management

- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and underwriting capabilities

- Experience managing assets through various stages of the investment lifecycle

- Deep understanding of capital structures, debt financing, and joint venture partnerships
