Associate, Co-Investments

Adams Street Partners, a global private markets investment manager with nearly $70 billion in assets under management, is seeking an Associate to join its Co-Investment team in Chicago. The Co-Investment team invests directly into companies alongside leading private equity managers, with a broad, global mandate spanning all company sizes, industries, and geographies. Since 1989, the team has committed over $7 billion to more than 300 companies and is currently deploying its sixth dedicated co-investment fund.

This Associate will function as an integral member of the team, with responsibilities spanning new investment evaluation, deal execution, portfolio monitoring, and general team support. The role offers a significant level of responsibility and a unique opportunity to build broad private equity exposure across a highly diversified portfolio varied by industry, geography, and company size.

Key responsibilities include supporting the investment execution process (financial modeling, due diligence, investment memo preparation), monitoring and reporting on portfolio companies, and contributing to deal origination and sourcing efforts. The team leverages Adams Street's firmwide knowledge base and relationships across its primary, secondary, private credit, and venture/growth strategies.
