A well-established venture capital firm is seeking a Principal to join their Chicago healthcare investment team. The firm backs innovative companies across therapeutics, medtech, and digital health.

Responsibilities include sourcing and evaluating early to growth-stage healthcare investment opportunities, leading due diligence (market analysis, competitive positioning, clinical/regulatory assessments), structuring term sheets, serving on portfolio company boards, and building relationships with healthcare entrepreneurs.

Requirements: 6-10 years in healthcare investing, healthcare IB, or healthcare consulting; strong understanding of regulatory pathways and reimbursement; venture-stage deal execution experience; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MD, or PhD in life sciences); established healthcare network.
