Investor (Deep Tech)

645 Ventures is a venture capital firm managing over $550M in assets under management across five funds. The firm partners with exceptional founders building iconic companies across fintech, consumer, healthtech, enterprise, cybersecurity, infrastructure/developer tools and deep tech, investing from Pre-Seed through growth stages. 645 Ventures supports founders through its resource-intensive approach encompassing hiring, customer introductions and growth strategy, leveraging its proprietary software platform Voyager.

As an Investor (Deep Tech) on the Investment and Research team, based in San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York, you will source, evaluate, win and support investments across Deep Tech sub-industries, including Aerospace and Defense, Robotics and Autonomy, Advanced Compute, Energy, and Manufacturing and Logistics.

Key responsibilities include sourcing, evaluating, winning and supporting investments across Deep Tech sub-industries; cultivating deep relationships with founders, investors, strategic industry partners and 645 Ventures colleagues; and building systems and experimenting with AI tooling to accelerate high-quality investment outcomes.

The firm seeks investors with a deep curiosity for frontier or deep technologies, high agency, strong work ethic, emotional intelligence, strategic thinking, and an AI-forward mindset. Prior experience in one or more of the following areas is valued: operating experience at a deep tech company, private equity or venture capital investing, sell-side research, investigative journalism, military service, or government roles. 645 Ventures backs founders who build iconic businesses that transform industries.
