SuperReturn Energy and Infrastructure Asia 2026

Asia-Pacific's dedicated infrastructure investment forum

About this event

SuperReturn Energy and Infrastructure Asia is the dedicated single-day conference for institutional capital deployed into infrastructure across Asia-Pacific. Co-located with SuperReturn Asia in Singapore, the event concentrates the regional infrastructure allocator base — Korean institutional pools, Australian super funds, Japanese institutional capital, Singaporean and Hong Kong sovereign-adjacent funds — alongside the global GP set with Asian infrastructure platforms.

Asian infrastructure investing has its own structural features that the conference is built around. The energy transition is unfolding very differently across Asia-Pacific, with India and Southeast Asia still adding substantial new generation while Japan and Korea concentrate on grid, storage and hydrogen retrofits. Digital infrastructure (data centers, fiber, towers) is structurally undersupplied across most Asian markets. Transport and logistics infrastructure remains capital-intensive and is increasingly opening to private capital. The regulatory regimes vary materially by country — sessions explicitly address those differences rather than treating Asia as a unified market.

The conference is also a primary venue for understanding the Korean and Australian institutional outbound flows into global infrastructure. Korean institutions have become structurally important global infrastructure LPs; Australian super funds dominate Antipodean infrastructure and increasingly co-invest globally. Programming reflects the working relationships these LPs have with regional and global GPs.

Who attends

Asia-Pacific institutional infrastructure LPs (Korean institutions, Australian super funds, Japanese pensions and insurance, Singaporean and Hong Kong sovereign-adjacent funds); global infrastructure GPs with Asian platforms; Asian infrastructure GPs; project developers and the legal and engineering advisory ecosystem.

Why this event matters

Asian infrastructure represents one of the largest absolute capital deployment opportunities in private markets, but the country-level regulatory and operating heterogeneity makes pan-regional allocation genuinely difficult. The conference compresses that heterogeneity into a single concentrated venue.
