PDI APAC Forum 2026

The dedicated Asia-Pacific private credit gathering

About this event

PDI APAC Forum is the dedicated Asia-Pacific private credit conference produced by Private Debt Investor (PEI Group). Held in Singapore — the natural regional financial hub — the forum brings together the Asian institutional credit allocator base, the regional GP set deploying capital across Asia-Pacific credit strategies, and the global GPs raising into the region.

The Asian private credit market has its own structural features that distinguish it from US and European credit and that the forum is built around. The bank-disintermediation thesis that drives non-bank lending in the West applies very differently across Asian markets — some, like Australia, have advanced non-bank lending markets; others, like Korea and Japan, are earlier in the bank-retreat cycle; others still, like India, are absorbing capital faster than the legal infrastructure can adjust.

Programming covers the regional credit strategy spectrum. Direct lending sessions concentrate on the Australian non-bank lending market and the growing Indian direct-lending opportunity. Mezzanine and special-situations programming addresses the Japanese and Korean restructuring landscape. Real estate credit reflects the regional REPE-credit interface. Distressed and stressed credit programming covers the Chinese onshore and offshore opportunity sets where they remain investable.

The forum is also the primary venue for understanding the Australian super fund and Korean institutional outbound flows into private credit — both of which have grown structurally important and both of which have distinct manager selection rhythms.

Who attends

Asian institutional credit allocators (Australian super funds, Korean institutions, Japanese pensions and insurers, Singaporean and Hong Kong sovereign-adjacent funds); GPs across direct lending, mezzanine, distressed and special situations in APAC; global GPs with Asian credit platforms; the legal and restructuring ecosystem.

Why this event matters

Asian private credit is at an earlier stage of institutional maturation than the US and European markets, but the rate of growth is structurally higher and the regional deal environment is increasingly attractive. The forum is the most concentrated annual venue for understanding how that growth is unfolding by country and substrategy.
