SupplyOne, Inc., a prominent player in value-added packaging distribution, has significantly expanded its capabilities in the food packaging sector through the strategic acquisition of Specialty Packaging, LLC. This move, the 47th for SupplyOne since its inception in 1998, marks a substantial enhancement of its New England presence and deepens its expertise in specialized food-grade solutions.

Headquartered in East Hartford, Connecticut, Specialty Packaging, established in 2012 by Chris Orsini and Keith Streib, brings a robust portfolio that includes innovative solutions like its proprietary SteamRight® microwavable packaging. This technology allows for direct steaming of frozen foods within the container, addressing a key consumer demand for convenience and quality. The acquisition integrates Specialty Packaging's comprehensive offerings, encompassing films, trays, bags, and corrugated containers, into SupplyOne's extensive network.
