The Strategy is a partnership of Seviora with Temasek to jointly invest in late venture and early growth Agri-Food Companies in the Asia Pacific (“APAC”) region.
Since August 2023, the Seviora T3F Strategy has raised US$173 million. The amount comprises seed capital from Seviora and Temasek, an investment by cornerstone investor Norinchukin Bank, as well as investments from other institutional investors. Seviora Capital expects to raise capital from institutional investors to participate in this commitment to drive transformation in the Agri-Food industry.
The Seviora T3F Strategy targets dynamic and sustainable Agri-Food ventures in the region, focusing on those poised for significant growth and offering innovative solutions to the critical challenges of demographic shifts and changing consumer demands. It aims to propel the Agri-Food system towards sustainability and adaptability, reflecting the rapid emergence and momentum of high-growth and startup ecosystems in Agri-Food across Asia-Pacific. These enterprises are at the forefront of developing scalable solutions to global Agri-Food challenges.
According to John Smith, CEO of Seviora Capital:
The launch of The Future of Food and Farming (T3F) Strategy represents a significant step towards addressing the pressing issues facing the global food and agriculture industry. By investing in innovative and sustainable solutions, we can work towards a future where food production is not only efficient and profitable, but also environmentally conscious and ethical.
