Nolan Capital, the family office of Peter J. Nolan and family, has announced several promotions of key employees.

Mr. Nolan was Managing Partner at Leonard Green & Partners (LGP), one of the most prominent private equity firms in the United States. He joined LGP in 1997 and was instrumental in many of the firm’s most successful investments during his tenure.

Founded in 2014, Nolan Capital is based in Hermosa Beach, California, managing investments in private companies, real estate, and other assets for the Nolan family. The firm focuses on control equity investments in U.S.-based companies that are industry leaders with proven management teams, typically generating annual EBITDA between $5 million and $50 million.

Rob Weitz Named Chief Investment Officer

Rob Weitz, a long-standing team member since 2016, has been promoted to Chief Investment Officer. In his previous role as Managing Director, Weitz led numerous investment initiatives and was instrumental in deal sourcing and portfolio management. With a strong background in investment banking and academic excellence, he brings a deep analytical perspective to the firm’s expanding portfolio.

Tim Eber and Bobby Nolan Promoted to Principals

Further strengthening the leadership core, Tim Eber and Bobby Nolan have both been elevated to Principal. Eber, who joined the firm in 2017, has built a solid track record of deal execution and portfolio development. Nolan has also played a central role in investment operations, contributing significantly to strategic growth and transaction execution across multiple sectors.

Branden Shin Advances to Vice President

Branden Shin has been promoted to Vice President, recognizing his valuable contributions as a Senior Associate. Shin’s experience in investment analysis and operational oversight has helped advance several of the firm’s key investment initiatives.
