JuiceMe Acquires Ajiraworks, Boosts African EOR Capabilities

JuiceMe has significantly advanced its African expansion strategy by acquiring Ajiraworks, a firm specializing in compliance-driven employment solutions across the UK and Kenya. This strategic move not only integrates Ajiraworks' robust operational framework and cross-border employment expertise into JuiceMe's core offerings but also brings Catherine Ochako, Ajiraworks' founder, into the fold as Global Director, Employer of Record (EOR). Ochako will also assume a board seat and become a shareholder in JuiceMe.

The acquisition represents a deliberate strategy by JuiceMe to bypass the lengthy and complex process of building essential employment infrastructure from the ground up on the continent. By absorbing Ajiraworks, JuiceMe gains a pre-validated compliance model that has already navigated the intricate regulatory environments of multiple markets. Her prior role involved building an EOR function from inception, successfully expanding operations into 29 markets and managing a geographically dispersed team.
