Gardiner Acquires IntelliTech Fire & Security

Gardiner Service Company, a prominent player in Northern Ohio's HVAC and building technology sector, has strategically expanded its life safety division through the acquisition of IntelliTech Fire and Security. This move significantly enhances Gardiner's capabilities in fire protection and comprehensive building safety systems across the region. While financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed, the integration is set to consolidate Gardiner's market position.

IntelliTech Fire and Security, co-founded by industry veterans Dan Sammon and Matt Andrews, brings over four decades of combined expertise. The Medina, Ohio-based firm specializes in a wide array of critical safety solutions, including advanced fire alarm and security installations, nurse call systems, closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance, access control technologies, and telecommunications infrastructure. Notably, IntelliTech holds a licensed distributorship for Siemens Fire Protection products, adding a significant brand affiliation to Gardiner's portfolio.

The integration plan outlines a phased approach. For the remainder of 2026, IntelliTech will operate under the banner IntelliTech, a Gardiner Company. Following this period, it will fully merge into a unified division, Gardiner Fire and Security. This new entity will also incorporate the existing Continental Fire and Security brand, creating a comprehensive and cohesive offering under the Gardiner umbrella. This consolidation aims to streamline operations and present a unified front to clients.
