The company distinguishes itself with a non-toxic, bipropellant chemical propulsion system that utilizes nitrous oxide and propene. This approach significantly mitigates the handling risks associated with traditional hypergolic fuels like hydrazine, a critical advancement for satellite manufacturers and operators. The system's versatility is demonstrated by its compatibility with a broad spectrum of spacecraft, from compact CubeSats to multi-ton satellites, and its operational reach extends from low Earth orbit to lunar trajectories.

Beyond propulsion, Dawn Aerospace is making significant strides in orbital logistics. Its 'Loop' service is designed to extend satellite lifespans through in-orbit refueling, featuring a specialized docking and fluid transfer port for seamless fuel replenishment.
