Prior to his role at Ara Partners, Wang held a Vice President position at First Reserve, a prominent private equity firm with around $17 billion in assets under management, recognized for its deep roots in energy and infrastructure. There, he contributed to the successful execution of over $2 billion in equity investments, honing his skills in complex deal structuring and asset management within the infrastructure domain. His foundational experience was built in investment banking at Lehman Brothers, where he gained critical insights into project finance and energy sector transactions.
