INXM Raises €5.7M for AI Process Execution Engine

Berlin-based startup INXM has successfully exited stealth mode, announcing a significant €5.7 million pre-Seed funding round. This capital injection is earmarked to accelerate the deployment of its innovative AI process execution engine, designed to streamline complex enterprise and Mittelstand operations. The funding round was spearheaded by prominent venture capital firms Cherry Ventures and Redstone, with crucial participation from Angel Invest and a cohort of experienced business angels, including Linden Capital.

The core of INXM's offering lies in its novel "compiled AI" approach. This architectural paradigm leverages artificial intelligence to both design and refine operational workflows, termed 'Plans' by the company. These AI-generated Plans are then executed deterministically, merging the adaptive capabilities of AI with the robust reliability essential for enterprise-grade operations. This methodology aims to overcome the common pitfalls of enterprise AI projects, which often suffer from lengthy implementations and systems that struggle to integrate seamlessly with existing business processes.

Alex Oelling, CEO of INXM, highlighted the critical need for this solution, stating, “We founded INXM because we’ve seen first-hand how enterprise AI projects fail: years of implementation, armies of engineers, and AI systems that break more than they fix. Knowledge workers still copy-paste between ERP, PLM, Excel, email, and approval workflows to close a month. The INXM Orchestrator acts as the central nervous system, translating user intentions into executable Plans. It orchestrates tasks across disparate systems, human collaborators, and existing processes, ensuring repeatable and auditable outcomes through deterministic execution. Unlike traditional approaches that rely on real-time interpretation by large language models, INXM utilizes AI upfront to construct and optimize these execution Plans. This ensures operational predictability for teams and provides the necessary audit trails for compliance departments, a critical factor in today's regulatory environment.

Matthias Kainer, CTO of INXM, elaborated on the technical underpinnings: “At its core, Compiled AI means you use LLMs to generate deterministic, enterprise-ready code. You then run the code to achieve your outcome.
