Director, Equity Boutiques, Asia

Wellington Management, a global private partnership managing approximately $1 trillion in assets, is seeking a Director to join its Equity Boutiques leadership team in Asia. The role is part of the global investment platform of over 500 investment professionals and is a core member of the APAC Investment Platform leadership team.

The Director will lead and manage equity investment teams in the APAC region, developing and executing the department's strategic plan to ensure investment teams have the talent and resources needed to deliver excellent results for institutional clients. This role also serves as a thought partner to the Head of Investment Asia for the development and execution of the APAC Investment Platform's strategic planning, anticipating client and market trends and positioning the Wellington Investment Platform in APAC for sustainable success.

Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations of the APAC equity boutique team, ensuring the right talent, tools and resources are in place to drive excellent investment performance, and working closely with investment team leadership on commercial strategy.

The ideal candidate has a passion for investing, demonstrated problem-solving skills, a commercial mindset, and an empathetic leadership style. Significant management experience in asset management is required. Based in Hong Kong or Singapore.
