Investment Management Principal

<p>Top Tier Access (TTA) is a private equity fund of funds investing internationally across leading buyout managers. We work with more than 300 investors — mainly entrepreneurs and family offices — and consider it a privilege to serve them. Today, we manage about EUR 400 million in assets. Our team is deliberately small. That tends to suit people who prefer responsibility to hierarchy. Our focus is straightforward: selecting high-quality private equity managers across Europe and North America. We try to operate with a certain consistency: markets are bigger than us, trust is earned slowly, and what we say internally should not differ from what we say externally.</p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>The role</strong></p> <p>As Investment Management Principal, you will sit at the centre of the investment process. From first contact with managers to Investment Committee discussions, you will cover the full cycle. You will also act as a first filter for inbound opportunities. A fair number of funds knock on the door; not all should enter the room. Judgement, prioritisation and a sense of timing will matter, especially in balancing opportunities with the team’s bandwidth.</p> <p>TTA is actively expanding its product range, the incoming Principal will also contribute to shaping what comes next.</p> <p>This is a role with ownership. And, at times, with travel.</p> <p><strong>What you will do</strong></p> <ul class="_434a3632 _1668b1dc"> <li>Lead two product investment cycles end-to-end per year</li> <li>Source and map leading private equity managers across Europe and North America</li> <li>Act as first screening layer for inbound funds and triage opportunities in line with team capacity</li> <li>Conduct screening and full due diligence, including financial analysis, reference checks and on-site due diligence</li> <li>Prepare and present investment cases to the Investment Committee</li> <li>Monitor portfolio funds and contribute to reporting</li> <li>Attend multiple private equity conferences and AGMs each year to build network and access</li> <li>Contribute to investor discussions where relevant, articulating our approach with clarity</li> <li>Build and maintain an internal knowledge base (manager insights, market views, content)</li> <li>Contribute to TTA&#8217;s external thought leadership through market perspectives, fund analysis, or sector views</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who you are</strong></p> <ul class="_434a3632 _1668b1dc"> <li>Master’s degree in economics, business or similar</li> <li>4–5 years’ experience in private equity fund selection or adjacent fields (hedge fund selection, venture capital fund selection, co-investment programmes, secondary fund selection&#8230;)</li> <li>An existing network within private markets is expected</li> <li>Strong financial acumen and sound judgement</li> <li>Able to explain complex ideas simply — without oversimplifying</li> <li>Fluent in English; another European language is a plus</li> <li>Self-driven, prag...
