About This Role

Temasek is a global investment company headquartered in Singapore, with a net portfolio value of S$434 billion as at 31 March 2025. Operating on commercial principles, Temasek seeks to deliver sustainable returns over the long term, with 13 offices in 9 countries across Asia and beyond.

The Portfolio Development team works directly with Temasek's portfolio companies to create and unlock value. As AVP/VP, you will lead strategic and operational analyses, identify and execute value creation initiatives, and engage senior stakeholders at portfolio company boards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead in-depth strategic and operational analyses of portfolio companies, covering financial performance, competitive positioning, and market dynamics

- Drive identification, evaluation, and execution of value creation initiatives including strategy transformation, operational improvements, balance sheet optimisation, and corporate restructuring

- Develop and challenge robust valuation and financial models (SOTP, DCF, DDM, trading comparables, precedent transactions, scenario analysis)

- Monitor and assess portfolio company performance through financial and operational KPIs; provide actionable insights to enhance long-term value

- Engage with senior management teams and Board Directors to support strategic decisions and track execution of value creation initiatives

- Contribute to portfolio-wide synergy identification, organic and inorganic growth opportunities, and knowledge sharing

- Own selected workstreams end-to-end and mentor junior team members

Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience in strategy consulting, private equity, investment banking, or a comparable analytical role

- Strong financial modelling skills (SOTP, DCF, LBO) and ability to link operational levers to valuation outcomes

- Track record of leading complex analytical workstreams with senior stakeholder engagement

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Based in Singapore
