Role Overview

Based in Singapore, this Director-level position places you at the forefront of our technology strategy. The Head, Business Applications will oversee the comprehensive suite of applications essential for our private equity operations, from deal origination and portfolio management to investor relations and financial reporting. This role requires a leader capable of aligning technology initiatives with core business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

* Define and execute the strategic roadmap for all business applications, ensuring alignment with Partners Group's overall private equity investment and operational objectives.

* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team responsible for the full lifecycle management of business applications, including selection, implementation, integration, maintenance, and optimization.

* Partner closely with senior business stakeholders across investment teams, operations, finance, and legal to understand their requirements and translate them into robust, scalable technology solutions.

* Drive the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and platforms that enhance data analytics capabilities, automate workflows, and improve decision-making processes within the private equity context.

* Oversee vendor relationships and manage application-related budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value delivery.

* Establish and enforce best practices for application governance, security, data integrity, and regulatory compliance, adhering to the stringent standards of the financial services industry.

* Champion continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence within the business applications function.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of leadership in business applications within the financial services sector, with significant experience in private equity or alternative asset management. A deep understanding of investment workflows, coupled with strong technical acumen and stakeholder management skills, is essential for success in this role.
