Associate, Private Equity – Technology Vertical

Partners Group, one of the largest global private markets asset managers, is seeking an Associate to join its Private Equity Technology Vertical team at its global headquarters in Baar, Switzerland. Partners Group manages over $150 billion in assets on behalf of institutional investors worldwide, with a strong emphasis on buyout and majority control investments in technology-led businesses.

The Associate will build and maintain financial models to evaluate investment opportunities in the technology sector, lead due diligence activities in partnership with external advisors and management teams, and prepare comprehensive investment materials for internal review. The role involves identifying new investment opportunities through sector research and thematic analysis, and supporting value creation initiatives at existing portfolio companies through strategy and operational improvements.

Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or management consulting, supported by strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills. The role demands self-direction and the ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines in a fast-paced international environment. The Technology Vertical focuses on majority and control investments in enterprise software, technology services, and digital infrastructure businesses.
