Vice President, Institutional - Private Equity

Neuberger Berman seeks a Vice President, Institutional to join its Private Equity team. This role represents a significant opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the firm's engagement with institutional investors, focusing exclusively on its private equity offerings.

As Vice President, Institutional, the successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating and strengthening relationships with institutional clients, including pension funds, endowments, foundations, and family offices. This role involves articulating Neuberger Berman's private equity investment philosophy, strategies, and performance to sophisticated institutional audiences. Key responsibilities include:

Client Engagement:* Proactively managing and expanding relationships with existing and prospective institutional investors, acting as a primary point of contact for private equity-related inquiries.

Capital Raising:* Participating in the fundraising process for new private equity funds and mandates, including preparing and delivering presentations, responding to detailed due diligence requests, and ensuring a comprehensive understanding of client needs and investment objectives.

Market Intelligence:* Maintaining a deep understanding of the global private equity landscape, competitor offerings, and institutional investor trends to inform client engagement strategies and product development.

Collaboration:* Working closely with the firm's investment teams, product specialists, and legal/compliance departments to ensure seamless client service and product delivery, and to convey market feedback internally.

Reporting & Communication:* Providing regular updates and performance reporting to institutional clients, translating complex investment concepts into clear, concise communications that meet regulatory and client requirements.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess a proven track record in institutional sales or client service within the private equity or broader alternative investment sector. A comprehensive understanding of private equity strategies, fund structures, and investor requirements is essential. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills are critical for success in this client-facing role.
