The Senior Associate/Manager Finance Transformation will support on-site restructuring and performance improvement initiatives across Mutares portfolio companies, with a strong focus on liquidity visibility and operational cash management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support on-site restructuring and performance improvement initiatives with focus on liquidity and cash management

- Prepare financial analyses and contribute to financial and liquidity models supporting assessment of restructuring measures

- Support structuring and implementation of financing measures including factoring, asset-based lending, and credit facilities

- Contribute to enhancement of finance, controlling, and closing processes including hands-on reporting and financial statement preparation

- Support interaction with external stakeholders (auditors, financial advisors, banks, credit insurers) by preparing analyses and documentation

- Collaborate closely with the Mutares restructuring team and CFOs of portfolio companies

Candidate Profile:

- Finance degree or similar with outstanding results

- At least 2 years of experience in Big4/Management Consulting or a controlling/finance department, ideally with restructuring/turnaround exposure

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with entrepreneurial mindset

- Business fluency in German and English (required for German-speaking portfolio companies)

- Willingness to travel extensively to portfolio company sites across Europe
