Transaction Services (Financial Due Diligence - Private Equity), Assistant Manager

KPMG Singapore's Transaction Services team is seeking an Assistant Manager to join its Financial Due Diligence practice focused on Private Equity. The team is part of KPMG's global Deal Advisory practice and advises PE firms and corporate clients on buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence across South East Asia.

Key responsibilities include leading complex workstreams in buy-side and sell-side transactions, assessing quality of earnings, analyzing cash flows, reviewing working capital, identifying key business drivers, and conducting discussions with management. You will prepare deal-oriented reports and presentations highlighting key financial findings and their implications on valuation and the sale/purchase agreement.

The role involves engagement leadership across multiple large transactions, risk management, and team development including coaching junior staff. You will liaise directly with PE clients and target management teams throughout the deal process.

Requirements: 4-6 years of relevant experience in global accounting firms with knowledge of financial due diligence and M&A processes. Relevant qualifications such as ACCA, ISCA, CFA or equivalent. Prior experience with South East Asia transactions is beneficial. Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
