iDirect International APAC - Vice President

iCapital is seeking an investment product specialist Vice President to support the iDirect funds series in Asia Pacific markets, based in Hong Kong. The role reports to the Head of International, iDirect and is responsible for leading regional business development planning and strategy, as well as sales of iDirect products and advisor education for private banks, single and multi family offices, and brokerage and wealth management platforms.

iCapital is a leading global fintech platform that provides alternative investment solutions to wealth management clients. The iDirect funds series covers private equity, private credit, hedge funds, and other alternative investment products.

Responsibilities include leveraging a consultative sales process to acquire new relationships, expand existing client relationships, and service assets under management. The Vice President will develop high-level sales proficiency with iDirect offerings in private equity, private credit, and hedge funds, and maintain a strong understanding of the asset class for product comparison purposes. The role requires travel to markets to meet with gatekeepers, advisors, industry bodies, and end clients in support of the broader sales and educational effort. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the planning and execution of roadshows and conferences, and working alongside the in-region Client Solutions team on client pitches, product positioning, and sales campaigns.

Qualifications: 10+ years of experience working within the alternative investment industry in a client-facing capacity, such as investor relations at GPs, distribution specialist at placement agents, fund of funds, or asset management firms with alternative investment product experience. Self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. Strong team orientation and exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills in a cross-border environment.
