Associate, Direct

Role Overview

HarbourVest Partners is hiring an Associate for its Asia Direct Investment team, based in Singapore. The Direct Investment team co-invests in buyout transactions alongside established fund managers and also participates in growth equity investments. This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of four days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

- Investment due diligence, including company and industry research

- Financial analysis, modelling, and quantitative analysis

- Developing investment recommendations and supporting Investment Committee papers

- Participating in team and Investment Committee discussions

- Coordinating legal documentation and transaction closing

- Monitoring existing portfolio companies

Qualifications

- 2-6 years of professional experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting, or similar

- Demonstrated knowledge of basic corporate finance and accounting concepts

- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills

- Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience

- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent written/verbal communication skills
