About This Role

Hamilton Bradshaw is a private equity and investment firm with over 25 years of trading history, a track record of building, scaling, and exiting businesses across the professional services sector, and a concentrated portfolio of around 22 active investments. Cohesion Asset Management, a fund management business, is the standout performer in that portfolio. Its flagship strategy, Cohesion MK Best Ideas, invests in Indian equities, returning 29% in USD terms in Q2 2026 alone (versus 5% for the MSCI India ETF over the same period) and over 250% cumulatively since its 2020 launch. Cohesion is now expanding into Hong Kong and is seeking a Non-Executive Director to help lead that expansion at board level.

The role involves working directly with Cohesion's Founder and CEO as a trusted advisor and board-level sounding board, helping the business build its investor base among Hong Kong family offices and HNWIs. Responsibilities include expanding Cohesion's investor base across Hong Kong, advising on the nuances and dynamics of the Hong Kong market, arranging and hosting local investor events, and shaping go-to-market and investor strategy.

Candidates should be senior financial services professionals, ideally with a background in private wealth, asset management, or fund distribution, who bring genuine credibility and existing relationships within the Hong Kong family office and HNWI community. Required attributes include board-level or senior executive leadership experience, a strong network among Hong Kong family offices, HNWIs, or private wealth channels, financial literacy and the ability to interpret and challenge fund performance, exposure to private equity, M&A, consulting, or professional services environments, experience working with founder-led entrepreneurial businesses, and the gravitas and emotional intelligence to engage senior stakeholders and build trust with founders.

This is a part-time commitment of 2-3 days per month, offering the opportunity to join the board of a high-performing fund at a pivotal moment in its growth, backed by one of the UK's established private equity platforms.
