Goldman Sachs offers a pivotal opportunity for an accomplished real estate professional to join its Private Equity division as a Vice President, Real Estate Asset Management. This role is central to managing and optimizing a substantial portfolio of private equity real estate investments within a globally recognized financial institution. The successful candidate will drive value creation across a diverse portfolio, contributing directly to the firm's strategic real estate objectives.

Role & Responsibilities:
The Vice President, Real Estate Asset Management will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight and strategic management of a diverse portfolio of private equity real estate assets. Based in Tokyo, Japan, this individual will play a critical role in maximizing the performance and value of investments throughout their lifecycle.
Core responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing asset-level business plans and strategies, including capital expenditure programs, leasing initiatives, and property repositioning efforts.
* Monitoring and evaluating property operating performance against budget and strategic objectives, identifying areas for improvement and executing corrective actions.
* Conducting detailed financial analysis, including valuation, forecasting, and investment return modeling, to support ongoing asset management decisions and reporting.
* Managing relationships with third-party property managers, leasing brokers, consultants, and other service providers, ensuring alignment with firm objectives and performance standards.
* Overseeing compliance with investment guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
* Preparing comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management and investors, detailing portfolio performance, market conditions, and strategic recommendations.
* Supporting investment and disposition processes, including due diligence, underwriting, and transaction execution for new acquisitions and existing asset sales.
* Analyzing market trends, economic indicators, and competitive landscapes to inform asset strategies and identify potential risks or opportunities within the real estate portfolio.
This position requires a professional with a proven track record in real estate asset management, capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy while contributing to a collaborative global team. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to drive complex real estate initiatives.
