About This Role
Golding Capital Partners, one of Europe's leading independent asset managers specializing in alternative investments, is seeking a Manager / Director for Institutional Clients – Banks (Remote, Germany). The firm manages over €15 billion in assets with a focus on Private Equity, Private Debt, Infrastructure, and Secondaries.
The Role
You will play a central role in expanding Golding's institutional business in the German banking sector. Working with entrepreneurial responsibility and significant autonomy, you will focus on cooperative banks (Genossenschaftsbanken) and savings banks (Sparkassen), growing this strategic customer segment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategically develop and grow the Genossenschaftsbanken and Sparkassen client segment. Build and maintain decision-maker level relationships, developing them into long-term, high-value partnerships. Manage the full sales cycle independently — from identifying relevant investors to successful deal closing. Identify market opportunities early and translate them into concrete sales approaches and ideas for new investment solutions. Represent Golding at client meetings, industry events, and within your professional network.

Requirements
Deep understanding of the decision-making structures of Sparkassen and Genossenschaftsbanken. Established network in the German banking sector at decision-maker level. Strong track record in institutional client development and sales. Experience in alternative investments (Private Equity, Private Debt, Infrastructure, or Secondaries preferred). Fluency in German and English.
