Role Overview

GIC, one of the world's largest sovereign wealth funds with over 2,000 employees across 11 global locations, is hiring an Associate for its Singapore-based Infrastructure team, on a 3-year fixed-term contract with full employment terms and benefits. GIC deploys long-term capital through direct and fund investments in infrastructure companies across Asia and Australia, targeting stable and predictable cash flows, long-term inflation protection and reasonable risk-adjusted returns.

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate and execute new infrastructure investments, contributing to decisions from origination through to portfolio ownership.

- Prepare and present quantitative and qualitative investment evaluations to the investment committee.

- Establish, develop and maintain relationships with counterparties and potential investee companies.

- Manage and report on assigned investments, including supporting GIC representatives at investor and board meetings, engaging regularly with management and other investors, and contributing to strategic initiatives with investee companies.
