Vice President – Private Equity

Flynn and Chase is recruiting on behalf of a highly active European mid-market private equity investment firm with a strong presence in the DACH region. The platform manages several billion euros of capital and is known for disciplined underwriting, operationally driven value creation, and consistent deployment across primary buyouts, growth investments, and complex carve-outs.

The firm completes multiple platform and add-on acquisitions per year with a clear focus on proprietary deal sourcing. Typical transactions involve equity investments ranging from mid double-digit to several hundred million euros. The Munich office is looking to hire a VP/Investment Manager to lead transaction execution and portfolio development.

Key Responsibilities: Lead deal execution workstreams including financial analysis, valuation, structuring, and negotiation. Build and challenge advanced LBO models and integrated operating models. Drive multi-stream due diligence (commercial, financial, legal, tax, operational). Prepare investment memoranda, valuation materials, and IC documentation. Active role in deal sourcing via advisor interaction and thematic market mapping. Work closely with portfolio company management teams on value creation, KPI tracking, and add-on M&A. Mentor Associates and Senior Associates.

Candidate Profile: 5-7 years of experience in private equity, investment banking M&A, leveraged finance, transaction services, or strategy consulting. Strong LBO modelling and valuation skills. German and English fluency preferred. Munich-based position.
