Senior M&A Associate, Renewable Energy

One of Europe's most established independent renewable energy developers and operators, headquartered in Bremen and active across 33 countries in Europe, the Americas, and Asia, is seeking a Senior M&A Associate to join their deal-focused team.

Key responsibilities: leading and supporting buy-side and sell-side transactions across onshore wind, solar, and infrastructure assets; driving financial modelling, valuation, and returns analysis on greenfield and operating projects; managing end-to-end due diligence and coordinating legal, technical, and commercial advisors; structuring deals, project financings, and co-investment arrangements; and preparing investment papers for senior leadership.

Ideal candidates will have 4-6+ years of experience in M&A, infrastructure, project finance, or transaction advisory, ideally with energy or renewables exposure. Strong financial modelling and valuation skills are required, as is a track record of running diligence and closing transactions. Fluency in both German and English is essential.
