Senior Associate – Debt Structuring and Portfolio Management

Flynn and Chase is recruiting on behalf of a leading independent alternative investments firm for a Senior Associate to join the Debt Structuring and Portfolio Management team in Frankfurt, focusing on infrastructure and private debt. This role combines new deal structuring with active portfolio responsibility in a dynamic international environment.

The Opportunity: Support deal teams in structuring new infrastructure debt investments and other private debt asset classes. Help shape financing parameters from term sheet stage through contract signing. Prepare credit papers and materials for investment decisions. Monitor, analyse and manage existing private debt investments on an ongoing basis. Act as first point of contact for intensive care and restructuring situations in the portfolio. Oversee operational control of assigned portfolios (payments, covenants, waterfall calculations). Prepare regular investor reports and handle ad-hoc investor queries. Lead internal projects related to the development of the private debt platform.

Candidate Profile: Degree in economics, finance, or business administration. At least three years of professional experience in infrastructure debt, project finance, or structured finance at a bank or asset manager. Very strong German and English language skills. Strong analytical and financial-mathematical skills. Frankfurt-based position with professional development opportunities.
