CVX Ventures is a new venture capital firm focused on identifying and investing in promising early-stage companies. As a Founding Partner, you will be instrumental in defining the firm's investment thesis, building its portfolio, and cultivating relationships across the venture capital landscape. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring a blend of strategic vision, investment acumen, and operational capability to launch and scale a successful fund.

Key responsibilities will include:

Strategy and Fund Development:* Co-creating and implementing CVX Ventures' overarching investment strategy, fund structure, and operational framework.

Deal Sourcing and Execution:* Identifying, evaluating, and leading investments in companies aligned with the firm's thesis. This involves extensive network development, due diligence, and negotiation.

Portfolio Management:* Actively supporting portfolio companies with strategic guidance, operational insight, and follow-on capital planning to foster growth and achieve successful exits.

Investor Relations and Fundraising:* Cultivating relationships with limited partners, managing fundraising efforts, and ensuring transparent communication regarding fund performance and strategy.

Team Building and Firm Operations:* Contributing to the recruitment of future team members and establishing efficient processes and a positive culture within the firm.

Market Representation:* Representing CVX Ventures within the venture capital community, at industry events, and across relevant ecosystems to build the firm's brand and presence.

This role is available on a remote basis, with the successful candidate operating from anywhere within Europe.
